Just a thought, have you got the dash set to sport?
I installed the TFT dashboard. Byte 65=40Just a thought, have you got the dash set to sport?
Ok.
So what do you expect to change?
I doubt the sportYes, MES did not make a PROXY and left the standard value of the ECO button. AlfaOBD was also unable to change ECO to SPORT. Maybe in cars of 2018 a different byte needs to be edited? MEC and AlfaOBD only know older BODY?
You won't get boost pressure if there isnt a boost pressure sensor connected. So that the ECO button works like the SPORT button. In sport mode, there should be a boost pressure sensor on the right side of the instrument panel. Or do I need to change byte 65=60?
Thank you.I just changed in MES adjustments city to sport, and the only change is byte 44 goes from 71 to 75.
Lol, thats the page I sent at the start. It changes the byte values, then the proxi align writes it to the ECU. Mine didn't accept it, did yours and what does the speedo look like?No need to change any bytes. I changed it here. (Sorry for the horrible screenshot)

That's what I did. After changes in MEC, the PROXY alignment procedure does not work, errorNo need to change any bytes. I changed it here. (Sorry for the horrible screenshot)

Thanks for the link, I wondered what the difference was. At least my eco gauge works, thats something I suppose....I placed screenshots of normal and Sport mode ....
At the time I didn’t know that the Eco gauge is actually fed by the radio, which I replaced with an aftermarket unit. So that explains why it stopped workingThanks for the link, I wondered what the difference was. At least my eco gauge works, thats something I suppose.
Are you serious? How have you deduced that, please explain. At the time I didn’t know that the Eco gauge is actually fed by the radio, which I replaced with an aftermarket unit. So that explains why it stopped working![]()
I don't suppose you would mind telling me what you have set for byte 65 (I think that's it) for your Proxy Alignment? I want my TFT speedo to look like yours, with the thinner font.Well all you need to do is find a digital speedo with lower mileage than the car …. And one that is up to 2015!! do not even entertain a 2016 as it is not compatible!
MES will allow you to set the correct mileage and a proxi will write the data to the new digital TFT unit
Just one plug to remove on the rear! I’ve included a pic of mine! Much neater!!
Swapped mine 2/3 years ago no issues at all
Thanks.You have 4 options for byte 65.
"00" - Large Speed Digits and mimics old style fuel gauge and rev counter.
"20" - Small speed Digits and simpler style fuel gauge & rev counter.
"40" - Sport
"60" - Abarth
'00' looks like this...

I can't get 40, or 60 the system seems to know I haven't got a sport or Abarth.
It would be really interesting if people were to check the numbers in between to see if they modified various other text /digit sizes/colours.
Yeah, it's not very good, but is an indication of how heavy footed you are on the throttle, there is an irritating delayed action, which looks like that part of the program only updates 5 seconds or so, ideally you're aiming for the 'shadow' to change to a little green bar right at the top after driving for a while with the absolute lightest of throttle input.Thanks.
My car on “00” has an “eco index” of 0-50-100 on the right. I don’t actually know what it means but I do know it moves around, but not in real time it seems. I assumed it was another way to show MPG.

Yes, I suppose it could be, if you have Byte 65 set to '00'I assumed it was another way to show MPG.
