Have just found that my mk1 unos exhaust manifold has cracks in it and from talking to Italian Autos have heard its very common.Any one else found a good way to overcome this or maybe know someplace who makes up aftermarkets for them preferbly in New Zealand but depending on price dosent have to be. any info would be great cheers.

Hope it is OK to mention this, here but Mal Simmonds is a good guy to ask in NZ.

There are probably heaps of 2nd hand ones around.

If its not actually leaking just keep using it.

Sinco Customs is your best bet for an aftermarket one at a reasonable price.

Ive fitted a custom one. Its a big job

Oh yea, i will probably at least get one that isnt cracked as i have found a second hand one, but dont like the idea of it just cracking again soon. Why is it such a big job and did you get yours made through Sinco if so what sort figure was it ? Thanks heaps.

All turbo exhaust manifolds crack eventually.

If the manifold is an exact copy and bolts up its no big deal but it not usually so simple. The one I did had an external wastegate and there's just lots of little things that are slightly different that you have to fix up.

Sinco usually charges around $650 for a custom manifold. If you had a good used manifold I would just use that.
