Does anybody have little anecdotes associated with turning the clocks back or forward?

Mine is -

our wedding night was 34 years ago today - and we got an extra hour in bed......

When I heard that BST ends tonight, I was glad - for all those farmers out there that have had to watch all their cows being put down, the end was now in sight.

Yes many years ago I used to too.

But in Spring we got a night with an hour less...

(Assuming you were rostered of course)
