Tuning turbo time!

bloody hell what happened here? looks like the cast of Toy Story threw up all over the fiat forum!

Anyway just a heads up to say my article in PPC mag is out now. got 6 pages worth which i was very pleased with. theres a few mistakes and a lot of over exaggeration but i can see its done for the comical value of the car.

The car is still in storage at the moment and am thinking of taking it to the ppc meet to put on there feature stand but we will see.

not had time to mess with my own cars lately because work has been hectic (my job is messing with cars though hahaha) but thankfully my new car is great and loving the 4wheel drive fun :)

Feeling sorry for the poor little cento even more so after it ernt me newcomer of the year which was a big surprise at the award giving :)

That big market for a properly turboed cento? :( Good news though mate (y) keep us posted :)

Thanks :)

There won't be any work done on the car now ( nothing left to do!) As I don't want to spend any money on it.

The only updates will be electronic and engine management based as these cost nothing and are the only thing left to do. And this will only happen when/if I have time!

What I do want to finish is the boost control and traction control.

It's that time again! Another engine sitting in the back of a white fiat!

When? They look identical to me! Even the manifold pattern of the same as the the heads after mk1 which makes me think they are the same as thwy would of changed to a more even patern

"Note: the head and upper head are specific to the Turbo version, even though their basic dimensions are the same as for the 1.4 16V version." From the FIAT training documentation.

The changes are going to be very subtle (they changed the cooling passages in the block and changed the water pump (also shorter block) so I think they may have changed the internal passages in the heads (give the valves an easier life?). More obvious ones are the cams (different for the 120 and 150) and uprated exhaust valves.

Still, PM me your email address and I'll bung you the doc.
