yeah it can rev to red line easy...
if i slowly roll the throttle on then its fine but if give it some it will miss... sometimes it will miss really bad and make you look like you cant drive.
My punto gt does this exact thing but only from cold :confused: get a huge jerk when you change up a gear like your a muppet that can't change gears. Revs fine when pedal pressed progressively but coughs and splutters if you just whack your foot down...

maybe something to do with the fact that you shouldnt be flooring it from cold? :idea::p As Whiley said, sounds like a boost leak.

I still reckon its noise related. Are you sure the clock crystal is in the ms2 card? Cos i still remember fitting and testing mine to the main board itself...

right i'm off topic still but i must defend myself.. I NEVER drive my car hard until properly warm - not even my NA cars!!! And this problem is not boost related, its really low down the revs before it even comes on boost - could be a vac leak hence i have metres and metres of vac hose ready to go on. Its from tickover, press the pedal gentle and she is fine but if you stab at the pedal it misses and sputters but is ok once any kinda heat is in the engine, 100 metres down the road and is fine which is why i think its more likely not vac as they wouldn't stop leaking when car warms up... Car does have a boost issue as well, which is not related and very hard to describe - but i suspect a vac leak or hair-line crack somewhere on turbo/wastegate/inlet, just somewhere.
 
are you off to that auto-test then now its running properly.. Get a proper camera hooked up before hand if you are ;)

That map I gave you was pretty ****, we went through the cruise portion of the VE map the other night (untouched from last time) and pulled about half of the fuel off it lol.

I noticed lol the map has TOTALLY chanced from what you gave me.

Ill send you it when I get the chance if you want to see
