Hello there I bought a 100hp last week and am unable to connect my phone to the car.i don't seem to be able to find it on my phone,I am hoping this is something simple that I have missed.
The other issue is the trip computer,it doesn't tell me anything with regards to distance average speed, consumption etc.
The only thing I can do is activate trip B via the dash buttons.
The wiper stalk button does nothing.
Any pointers or help would be great.
Thanking you
Colin

Quick update the f35 (7.5amp) fuse was blown.
On replacing this the steering wheel buttons lit up and I was able to connect the phone.
Unfortunately upon moving the car the fuse has blown again.
Any ideas??
Thanking you
Colin

Having stocked up on 7.5 Amp fuses I tried again.
The fuse blows when turning the steering no more than five degrees in either direction.
Has anyone else had this out any ideas.
Heavy rain at present so stopped looking this evening.
Thanks
Colin

That's what I am hoping for Friday of so will remove the cowling and have a look.
Well probably disconnect the battery to make the airbag safe then I can have a good look round.

When the fuse goes it also stops the ASR from checking itself/working.
So would like to get it fixed.
I also believe that the trip computer connection is behind the horn push so ? this connection is loose hence my lack of trip computer.
Cheers
Colin

Been out tonight and taken the cowl off the steering wheel.
All looks well no signs of wire damage, so it looks like the clock spring as you suggest.
Do I need to buy the stalks and clock spring as a unit or can I get just the spring?
Also what are the costs please?
Thanks
Colin
