Friends in Walsall just told me there's small gangs smashing bus shelters and throwing stuff at passing cars.

Its about time our government got a f*** back bone because this is just sick. Like I said in a previous post, people will use this as an opportunity to protest against everything else. Religion will no doubt come into it soon.
Country has lost its back bone that it once had during the 1940s. Will it ever get it back...probably not. There probably arent enough English in this country to get it back - but thats another argument.
Hope everybody that posted above who is living or knows people involved in this, are all okay.
Should round them up and stick them all on the frontline...not that we would want these people fighting for us but you know

I looked out on the bedroom window at the destruction this morning. Smashed windows, cars turned upside down, a bus on fire, people running scared, police unsure what move to make. . . .

I'm sorry but that's a daft statement. I'm Australian and I give a fook about this, there were groups of Turkish men defending some areas of London.
I assume Ben is British, but when he goes to other countries as he seems to do fairly often does he stop caring about the rule of law and does he riot? Of course the **** not.
One thing that annoys me as an immigrant, people jibber jabbering about English people and crap like that. Get over yourselves, you're not some uber race of perfect people and you're not the only people who care about Britain.
This is a chance for people of all races and religions to stand the **** up for the country they live in whether they be black, white, inbetween, asian, middle eastern, British, Australian, Muslim, Hindu, Christian or whatever and show these c*nts what sort of country real British people (and I'm not using that in the xenophobic sense) want to live in.

This is is not to do with religion, economics, jobs or anything else, other than kids wanting to be "gangstas", fuelled by twitter etc.
As soon as the police are given back up legally and physically to wade in and make some examples of these kids it will spread until it then goes out of fashion. Seeing the police having to stand and watch whilst people's livelihoods are pillaged is a disgrace, but we have allowed this situation where the streets are barely controlled to build and build.
Special measures need applying.
Human rights act suspended.
Rubber bullets and water cannon depl;yed immediately.
When can I start? Cameron, stay on holiday son, leave it to the grown ups.

I agree with most of what your saying except that 'English' people still ARE the majority. It's a gap that's closing year by year but we are a long way from being a minority.

One thing that angers me is WHY IS THIS STILL HAPPENING? and Where the hell are the Police!. In Germany it would be over and done with in 6 hours, mainly because they will not tollerate that kind of behaviour and are willing to do whats required to shut it down. Their riot police are like paramilitary and aren't affraid of using CS gas, high powered water cannons, tazers the whole shibang.
