Tottenham Riots

Think you need to chill.

I phrased it wrong, fine.

But what I meant is, there are too many people that go round burning poppies and painting burkas on advertisments for this country to truly be what it was back then. That is all. End of.

But when you feel like a foreigner in your own country in certain areas around where I live...you get what I mean. So chill out.

Also, when you live some where for so long, you do feel a sense of ownership for that place. And sometimes, just sometimes, you feel like you have to protect that place rather than welcoming others to it. I am not talking about england, im talking about where I live. Though you probably wouldnt have that feeling, as your an immigrant

@ChrisUk: you are perfectly correct. I have researched statistics prior to this and do know for a fact there are more 'white english' in this country. Its just certain areas where It feels quite opposite.

I think this is certainly a misconception. Britain is a VERY British place.

I would protect where I live, it's my home ffs! Just because your mum plopped you out here why does that mean you care and I don't because my mum plopped me out a few thousand miles away. The problem is you see some foreign person who doesn't give a **** and somehow assume that he doesn't give a **** because he's foreign, it simply doesn't work that way.

Tbh i don't see a problem with people burning poppies, it's freedom of speech and if Muslims had invaded England with an army and were killing civillians every day then you might not think so highly of them and your countrymen in Iran or wherever would probably burn Koran's in protest. I don't LIKE people burning poppies, but I understand why they're not happy.

Okay. Let me ask you this. If I were to protest against islam, holding a picture of muhammad. Would I still be here tonight? In my own country?

You have completely misunderstood what I am trying to say. I do not look at someone and think they dont give a f***.

I bet these people who "aren't happy" and burn poppys ARE quite happy to use the 'free' health care, schools, social housing etc without putting a penny back into the system.

If they are that outraged why not go somewhere else who isn't invading their countries?

To me they just seem like hypocrites. The reason I get angry is that they almost EXPECT us to change our laws and views to suit them when in reality it should be the other way round. On top of that get "light" treatment from the law when they do break it.

From memory the poppy burner got a fine. Someone who burned the koran got a bigger fine and a community order .

The thing with the poppies is that, if it wernt for the people that died for the country, the people burning the poppies wouldnt even be living here...anyway.

I'm sorry but plenty of people have done that and been fine, you only need to look at EDL rallies to see that people don't get arrested or killed unless they go doing something stupid.

I think you're paranoid tbh.

Maybe so. Maybe I havent done my research. But maybe I walk round the corner to see 30 40 muslims standing at the school "Jahama al Huda" and I think...is this really England.

Like I said I have nothing against it, and maybe I dont know my stuff as much as you do, but it just gets to me. Thats all

And hey, id rather be paranoid now rather than later.

Like somebody said before, people are gonna have to take protecting their proprty into their own hands!

I couldn't agree more. If there hereto live in Britain shouldn't they be trying to join British society? I.e British schools etc. Not importing their own.

Yeah you might get beaten up. But try walking past a football stadium on game day and shouting "You team sucks cock <insert rivals name here> are far better" and you'd probably get beaten up too. Should we outlaw football?

Where should Muslims go? A church? A synogogue? Do you have a problem with kids congregating outside schools?

I'm sorry but you're only against it because they're muslims.

So I shouldn't listen to Australian music, support South Africa when it comes to rugby? Be free to worship as I wish? (I'm not religious)

I agree that people should try to coexist, but when people are complaining that you're practicing your religion or wearing religious garb then you're not going to feel welcome now are you?

I understand what you mean. Tbh, maybe it is. Maybe it is because they are.

And then there was the protests over christmas and its effect on islam. This is getting much too sensitive now and racist views are beginning to appear. Well, thats what its called. Though my views stem much from just wanting england to be what it used to be
