General top speed cinqo

I've never seen mine go over 95, but then I didn't buy it to go fast in a straight line. However, I did buy a G-Tech Pro from eBay (£40) to get some comparative performance figures as I mod the car. Best 0-60 time I've managed is 10.6 with a K & N, Sportex exhaust & Super 4 plugs. Just me in the car and 1/2 a tank of fuel. I was pretty sure that the 0-60 times quoted by manufacturers are with 2 people on board, which obviously will make more of a difference in a Cinq'.

I've had what the speedo said 120 i was scared was shaking alot lol

Was your speed only limited by the gearing then? Get the novitec longer 5th gear for better track speeds

It's not really worth it tbh... it took a fair few miles to get that speed

It'll quite happily get to bout 105 but from then on you have to really push it...

Maybe when it's turbo'd one day

You realise a 1242 limits normally at around 6500, the cinq ecu will limit it around 7200-7300.

the 1242 isnt as harmonically balanced as the 1108.. so you were over-revving her a tad there!
