General top speed cinqo

so wots everyone managed to push out of there cinqs (on private land of course) iv only managed 110 but i had more revs to go.. also any 0-60 times or 1/4 miles??? i got just over 9 sec 0-60

0-60 : 11-13secs maybe

1/4 mile : never attempted it, but u could be looking around 18-20 secs

Top speed : indicated 110mph, but never trust your speedo, anything over 90mph and they could be out

i know that i was doing 110 because i was behind my mates scoob (he was just cruising ).... iv got a K&N induction, powerflow system and no back seats spare wheel or any other heavy things (including rear wiper motor and wiper)... come on somebody must have some nuts results

although if i got 2 60mph id b lucky at the moment, head gasket has gone and maybe even the piston rings come on id love 2 hear what these lil cars are capable of!!!!!!!1

Pah, what you need is a quite night on the M62, and a nice Audi TT driver to participate. Got my std Sporting up to 120mph; the guy was pissing himself laughing, as he pulled into the middle lane to let me past, only for me to start losing speed

hehe Gaz, I heard sammi got taken yesterday in her coupe by a sei then a cinq! OK, the Uno I had wasn't far off the sporting in performance by the book, I went in that coupe (similar performance to a TT) and what a joke!

A tractor WR? You must have shifted up to 8th gear for that extra woosh of power!

120 on the clock is not 120. you were probably doing about 105. 110 max! 9 secs is a bit on the optimistic side mate, for the mods you have done. K&N's aren't that good!lol

And Paul, I don't think he was saying he could beat an Audi TT, mearly saying that he kept up with him upto that speed

Gaz, it's good, it's VERY good! You could sit in 1st gear for 12 seconds and still beat a sporting up to 60 lol

He couldn't, he doesn't have a chance, a coupe yes, but that's a different story, about 4x the power for a few extra 100kgs. I have driven a TT and I have driven a car with the same specs as a sporting and I know it hasn't a chance!

Seriously, do you really think that on an open stretch of motorway you would have a chance to keep up with a TT?

It's already going the way of all other BS threads though about a sporting keeping up with a stupidly quick car or about 0-60s with a K&N being sub 10.

i can keep up with many cars 0-30, but not after that. but my car isn't a race car. it's a Cinquecento Sporting
