Whats an interface engin???
I'm sitting here with my fingers crossed for you
as I pointed you in this direction. He repaired my
car before I bought it and I can't fault it, it fightens
me as to how quick it hits full revs in a low gear unless
you really watch it, I'm used to an auto where you don't
have to worry.
I realize he's still got the car, do the coil packs fire a spark
and are the plugs getting wet with fuel? Are there 2 sets
of leads to paired injectors and coiled pack if so have they been
plugged back up correctly. Could the Fiat garage of tweaked
something to inhitit the engine starting as they lost out on the repair.
Could they have damaged something removing the cam belt?
It's not always the sensor thats damaged but it could also be
a damaged wire.

Means that when the timing belt snaps the valves contact the pistons and bend them

yeah interfearance however its spelled, think of it as the valves share the space at the top of the engine with the pistons, so if its not timed right they can 'interfear' with each other
or more likley destroy eachother haha

Gm.. just like marriage then? Couples need chain timing installed
turn out to be the pulley that fiat supplied , it was the wrong one, although it was identical the magnet in it was in the wrong place , they have provided the correct one an the car is running again !!!

Quicker than it was
or quicker than the car you have been using?
Must admit after driving a six cylinder for 9
years and buying the stilo's it pleasantly surprises me
on how nippy it is.

Was going to have acheck later , need a new battery too so see how much ive got left and get a high power one if i can . Only comes on for a second then after restart is fine so most prob battery low , its has been off the road for nearly 8 week
