thas nothing,my nearest recommended server is Aberdeen
it always shows low speeds,as much as 50% compared to the Manchester server

Thats good to say your testing to New York. One question is why New York? the idea of that test is to test your best possible condition for use with gaming etc (which is normally hosted within UK).

The idea of the test is to test your internet speed and quality for all uses not just gaming on a local gaming network.
Over 95% of Google searches end up accessing websites outside of the UK so knowing my connection is good to New York is usefull. Even UK companies host their websites on servers outside of the UK due to cost so a good global internet speed is very desirable.

I'm a PS3 user and my NAT Type is "Open" so I connect to gamers all over the world not just those in the UK. An Open NAT Type also speeds up connecting to other gamers and entering a games.

iv never said yous, but me and my gf went way up north to durham for a weekend away couple weekends back, and everyone there said it, and my gf started saying it for some reason, it must be rubbing off on me

My result after running the DGTeam firmware on my DG834GT for a couple of weeks and tweaking the nuts off it! :slayer:

Good result considering my line length is roughly 3.5km's!
