Now get everything checked out before it lets you down or something for-seeable costs megabux. Cars don't like standing unused.

Most important - Cam belt, water pump, cooling system leaks, battery, etc.
Brakes etc should be ok if its passed the MOT.

It failed on the break pipes so i know they're all good lol

Got a few wee jobs on the to do list already

replace bushes
timing belt and possibly water pump at the same time
and once i've saved up some pennies hopefully gonna send it in for a service (y)
 
Service it yourself there are guides and change the coolant. :)
Oil is easy one spanner, washing up bowl and a strap wrench for the filter.
Coolant is more hassle and if its a Fiat dont forget to bleed it properly.

Also worth chemical flushing the cooling system. It might well find a leak but better replace the problem part than have a lump of gunk blow out and stop you 1/2 way down the M-Way.

If in doubt, always change the water pump with the cam belt. If its a 16V dont drive too much until its changed (ask me how I know about that :( ).

It's a K reg panda :D I'll probably do the services myself but i'll get the first one done by a professional lol (y)

Already had to change the speedo cable and the timing belt is next! Can't believe how much i love working on it love washing it to think i'm gonna polish the paint of soon :ROFLMAO:
 
Spend 400 quid getting my bike updated to modern standards, hydraulic discs and something a bit less basic rear shock wise, and repairing 4.5 years of crash damage or start anew?

Started life looking like this although it currently has Marzocchi Bombers on the front and Maxxis highrollers...

Could start again but its stood up to the punishment well and binning it seems cruel
 
Fair point like....might go for option 1.5...repair what needs doing to keep it going through this season then get a new one when the 2011/2012 model change is going on and pick up a nice 2011 bike for cheap.
 
Is the frame cracked? Are you going to throw it downhill at full tilt?
If no to both its worth fixing up.

I paid about that for a Cannondale Jekyll 1000. It needed a new back wheel because the original hub collapsed but with a Hope hub off ebay and a local bike mechanic to rebuild the wheel it was done for about £60. Not bad for what was originally £2K when new.

i seriousley english bad.
noticed this in the add as well Fully covers the entire front face of the iPhone for full protection, unlike other protectors that only covers the lighted screen section
