These are 2 pictures of "Clive", my 1968 Rover 3500, 65000 miles. He is the oldest one registered as they were introduced in April 1968 and his first owner registered him on May 2nd that year.

Mk 1s are something special, a real step forward for Rover? Has it got the lovely chrome "eyebrow" above the grille?

Yes it has the chrome trim on the front edge of the bonnet. the changes Rover made really were retrograde when they fitted baggy fabric seats and ghastly plastic grilles etc. The car is largely original, has been repainted twice in it`s years, I have had some panels repainted as they were mis matched at some time. Seats, carpets etc. all original, some signs of wear on the carpets but, hey ho! it`s an old car NOT a new, over restored one!
