Bit of a compilation I put together, a few I admit are clutching at straws for bad driving but hey, I'm new to this :)

The penultimate clip that is about the roundabout that 3rd exit "is past 12 o clock" whereby a mazda 6 (not a toyota) appears to cut you and a ford fiesta up, is the clip i'd be suspicious about.

We have a very similar roundabout which i travel on everyday whereby road users persist on heading in the wrong lane.

This is the exact one, so the unmarked lane is the direction i would be coming from which, looks very similar to the roundabout in the clip.

You have 4 possible exits, of which the 3rd exit is as you would say "beyond 12 o clock" but you are required to stay in the left lane, due to the fact that (also like in your clip) the lanes aren't marked.

I think the reason to stay in the left lane is although it's "beyond 12 o clock" it's effectively still carrying on the same road (The A16), whether this is the same in your clip i'm not sure?

I'm not saying you would be definitely wrong in this case as I don't know the road, but based on how it looked in the clip I would say the driver of the Mazda would be correct to be in the left lane, but that's just my opinion..

In your case I agree, specifically carrying on the same road effectively however the road and exits in my case are (Using your roundabout, which is uncannily the same) coming onto the roundabout from Exit 2 and exiting on the unmarked road.

I'm also saying how unsure I am on the lane, but having travelled this for a year I have noticed recurring drivers also doing the same and more often then not drivers use my lane (Not saying this is correct or 'following sheep' etc)

Also, yes. My car knowledge is fantastic ain't it? Has been pointed out a few times!

Fair enough mate, I wasn't picking or anything don't take it that way please! :)

Just giving my opinion to be honest!

Absolutely! If I came across a little rough apologies, not what I meant at all. At least you've bothered watching and commenting, so thank you. Like I say, not 100% what the deal is with the roundabout so opinions are welcome.

Not my video - its from across the pond

Was he speeding? or did she not look?

ziggy

Around the 10s mark, we see a speed limit sign - 35.
The driver was accellerating but only got to about 33 (according to the display along the bottom of the screen) just as she pulled out.
Even without the GPS speed displayed, you'd hardly say the guy was teararsing down the road.
Typical of the driver in the wrong really, trying to pass the blame.

If you put a straight edge on that map, exit 3 is more or less directly opposite the entry road. so would be at the 12 o'clock to the 6 o'clock entry.

The first one, was kind right to expect you to move over. Didn't do it in the safest way but you are supposed to pre-empt this kind of thing and act accordingly.

2nd one I would have reported for drink driving.

3rd one needs to pay more attention, clearly didn't notice you behind the car that turned off
