I'm not a hundred percent convinced here. What do you guys think?

I think its you, if you see that as being an emergency stop then god help anyone when you actually need to do one! Equally why are you speeding up / not backing off on approach to the roundabout, the Golf had clearly started to decelerate before moving over and braking, and you then make extensive progress as you've gone into the outside lane.

He was another of the many :tosser: out there though who never seem to use indicators when changing lane or using roundabouts mind :bang:

The Golf and I were both slowing for the roundabout. My Fizz's 999cc doesn't engine brake as efficiently as the 2.0TDi in the Golf so it may have looked as if I was accelerating while we were both retarding at different rates.
The Golf stopped fifty yards short of the "Give Way" line so make of that what you will, but I'm still not swayed that it was deliberate or neglectful.
The wide angle lens also makes it look nowhere near as close as it was. The front drivers side corner of the Fizz missed the passenger side rear of the Golf by few feet. If I had braked harder to avoid the back of the Golf I would either have locked up and skidded into the back of the Golf or cadence braked narrowly avoiding it. In hindsight swerving into the left lane was the best option.

tbh i'd of braked and swerved into the left hand lane if i knew it was clear todo-so

Not having ABS in these situations makes reacting more dramatic, and even through the good brakes are important, old vs new - again i agree with what your saying

This is one of the many things I have always liked about the Panda. If you drive something society refers to as decent or looks expensive it's like sticking a target on your back for all the whiplash fraudsters to come out of their holes. Especially around Peterborough. When I worked in that area from the Guyhurn straight and along the A47 as far as the A43 was like running a gauntlet every day. It was so bad that when I worked in Corby or Northampton I'd take the A605 and avoid Peterborough almost completely.

If these whipslashers have cottoned on that Panda values are going up I may have to get another old Merc' and stick a bull bar on the front. :bang:

This was my morning drive. Not really sure what actually he was trying to do. Feared for Lilith's bumper though.

Apologies for no audio. I have captioned it with appropriate music to give you a silent movie-esque feel to things.

cast your eyes over this.

I drive in such a way as to minimise braking to save fuel.
You may think this aggressive , but it's not meant to be. I'm just trying to save fuel.

Road speed 40mph, I'm coming home from work chatting to my wife about Touché Turtle, as you do.

A guy pulls out causing me to brake.

He obviously doesn't like the distance I am from his bumper as he starts playing around braking ,waving his arms and what not!

I've not got time for this rubbish, so I overtake him to carry on my merry way.

This upsets him some more as he is now chasing me, flashing his lights and gesturing that he wants to punch me.

Now, if there's one thing that gets my back up its when someone does something inconsiderate, and then has a go as if it's your fault!

I never resort to waving arms and gestures. The best you'll get from me is a sarcastic clap.

TBH I'm exactly the same as you (try to use the Prius' regen braking only when I can) and you've done exactly what I'd have done. He shouldn't have pulled out, and to then be a :tosser: when you've overtaken shows how small brained he is.

What ****tish driving on his behalf. I'm always tempted to send stuff like that into local constabulary. Doubt anything would come of it, but hey.
