The Dash Camera Thread (Videos)

OK guys with an F70...

Looking at the ebay page pics, there is one of the main uint in the middle of the screen with 2 wires going to the r/h side. Buttons are on the left.

But tha'ts on a left hand drive car, over here we are sat on the RH side so to get to those buttons as easily I think we would have to turn it upside down.

Does it support this and does the display turn 180 ?

What are the 2 black circles next to the power button? are these jacks for other wires?
Is there a manual available online?

Although not really very 'random and what this thread is all about'.
Which is strange since the title of the thread is 'dash camera videos'

pretty certain the word random was never used ?

my comment was a reflection on the huge number of posts without anyone actually posting a video.... which as you rightly point out is what this thread is supposed to be about....

but now it seems to have become a discussion on Dash cams which is a completely different thread which can be found -----> here

It would seem rather harsh, though, to simply ignore people when they are asking about cams. the more drivers we can bring into 'the fold' the better.

Should 'we' (someone, anyone) report a post that is not directly related to a video so it can be moved to the right thread?
How happy would the mods be about this?
(Would it be possible to report a post and leave a reply which could be put with the moved post?)

The 'best' one from today...

(Got one for the 'bikes' thread, must put it on YT first.)

this quote was literally dozens of posts back about a RuSZ video of a guy running through the streets with a stolen guitar chasing groupies and of roading police, firstly it is a bit random definitely not something you see everyday and the sort of video its good to put in this thread rather than 300 videos of someone almost cutting you up or indicating then going straight.

you actually posted at least another 5 or 6 times before I replied to ziggy's post with an actual video in it

to which your reply to my quote made no sense because you quoted something completely different to what you actually replied to

when someone asks what dash camera to buy what you would normally do is say

"hey check out this thread its 30+ pages of information about dash cams." rather than trying to answer that here thats not rude or harsh its just common sense to give that person access to all that info.

essentially if you are going to quote me then comment on it at least see that the quote and the comment are about the same thing:rolleyes: and its worth noting there is a dash cam thread for dash cam discussion...... its here (y)

Probably a leased company car. It would be nice if somebody could find out who is leasing it.

09's a bit old for a hire car.
