So apparently this thread has reached a point where its acceptable to call children 'retards' because they crossed the road in front of you at a junction where prioritys are blurred and where the Highway Code states you should be careful anyway as a driver anyway because you may not have been heard or seen. :bang: well I hope you and your camera feel big and clever it obviously makes you far more important than anyone else.
Oh and getting stroppy about a taxi driver dropping of a disabled person in a wheel chair maybe inconveniencing you for 40 seconds........
Time to start looking at your priorities in life probably taken 10 times longer to edit the video
You really aren't safe to be let out are you?
Have you actually read the highway code?
Rules for pedestrians...
STOP
LOOK
LISTEN
(highway code rule 7 D)
If traffic is coming, let it pass. Look all around again and listen. Do not cross until there is a safe gap in the traffic and you are certain that there is plenty of time.
Rule 8
At a junction. When crossing the road, look out for traffic turning into the road, especially from behind you. If you have started crossing and traffic wants to turn into the road, you have priority and they should give way
The kid did none of those things - but his mates and the other pedestrian did - he was too busy being a f**kwit to even bother looking to see if there was anything coming the other way.
Blurred priorities? Are you serious? It's a road, traffic has priority. All the other pedestrians realised this. It's not shared priority or a pedestrianised zone or some sort of complicated junction.
Anyway if we were watching the same video, you will have noticed anyway that the kid was watching me anyway as he was crossing anyway. He did what he did on purpose, so your assumption of me not being seen is blown completely out of the water.
And anyway, I was literally yards from the junction as he stepped off the kerb.
And as for the taxi driver dropping off disabled people - what the F*** do you think I do all day long? I carry elderly and disabled passengers - I pick them up and drop them off - but what I don't do is block a road to do either.
Again, HAVE YOU actually READ the highway code?
I very much doubt it judging by your stupid comments.

DO NOT stop or park
- anywhere you would prevent access for Emergency Services<<<<<
Since his parking there meant I could not get by, then neither could the emergency services - what if ambulance or fire brigade had come tearing up the road as he was unloading?
- opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space That was actually ON the junction
- on a bend Yep, that was ON a bend

Loading and unloading. Do not load or unload where there are yellow markings on the kerb and upright signs advise restrictions are in place (see pages 115-116). This may be permitted where parking is otherwise restricted. On red routes, specially marked and signed bays indicate where and when loading and unloading is permitted.
