Milleage is stored in eeprom (95040), that is why I suggested that, take a look:

You can read 95040 eeproms with the cheap CH314A programmer and its test clip, no need to desolder.

You can also mimic the coolant temp sensor with a sensor emulator, which basically is a potentiometer connected to earth.
 
Most likely they will do what I suggested.t

I have watched some tutorials about the use of the CH314A and it seems a little tricky.
If you don't do it well , you take the risk of damage your eeprom and the problem can get bigger.
I'll need a specific procedure guide to operate minimazing risks.
I 'm not sure I can do it well.
A second hand dashboard is not very expensive but , if I damage mine, then the problem can get bigger.
 
No risk at all, you read the new one's eeprom, then you read yours, then you write your data into eeprom of the new dash, if you made a mistake you just broke the new one, I have dumps to send yo you to revoer it. Yours remains intact as you just read it.

2) Click en el botón con el signo de interrogación verde, asegurarse que detecte el chip (muestra un listado, seleccionar M95040, si no lo detecta no está bien conectado)
3) Click en el botón con la flecha verde (Leer)
4) Guardar el archivo en la PC con el botón del diskette.

Then change eeprom and write the saved file with the icon with the blue arrow, you can verify the written data with the green equal sign button.

It would be interesting knowing how to find the eeprom on the dashboard and how to connect .
Resuming: reading and cloning the eeproms with the CH341A and use the Tachosoft calculator for the mileage.
I'm not sure if I understood how to pass the mileage from an epprom to the other.
It',s important for the ITV( inspección técnica de vehículos).

This is the data path from eeprom to programmer, taking into account the eeprom's pin # 1 -> pin1 of the clamp (red stripe) -> pin 1 of the small board, and the small board pin #1 connected to that specifict point in the programmer.

I connected it wrongly in other boards and nothing happened, you will notice it is connected properly with the instructions I wrote in previous post above in spanish, when you click the green question mark button.

Hi, I've just received the second gand dashboard and the Ch341A.
I have a doubt.
May I check the dashboard connecting it before or I have to clone it?
The connection would be for only knowing if all the needles go to zero.

I cannot think of any reason why not. Distanced travelled (km) will be that of the donor vehicle. Needles should be at zero no. On connection with ignition on, you should see the same fuel level as shown on existing panel. Needles on these instrument panels some times stick. The cure is to dismwntle the panel, and give the needle a very gentle push.
Tip. When refitting panel, tie a good length of string around headlamp adjuster cable close to connector. Pass string upwards through instrument panel before fixing in position. You can then pull the connector into reach when required.

I try to detect and get the message "C not responding".
The max I could do is obtaining the red led "run" but couldn't detect.
I've noticed on the back, the place for an eeprom is another than the picture you posted.
I've tried to change but didn't get result.

What may I being doing wrong??

Hi, well...Thanks a lot everybody for the help, specially Diego74 and Communicator.
I've finally cloned the dashboard and mounted it.
It was a little hard because of the delicate attachement of the Ch341 clamp on the eeprom but
I hope the temperature needle problem was fixed.
I'll konw it once I make a little trip.
