Technical TDC sensor problem

punto 1.6 mpi 1997 8v

the tdc timing sensor seems to have some crush marks on it and the car wont run its will tick over ish with foot on accelrator but no more....is this the damage to the TDC sensor??? anyone know if i can cheat it???

its a critical sensor, it needs to work properly for the engine to run properly. so nah, can't cheat it.

Yep, sounds like the cause. How did it get crushed?

my step dad stuck a screwdrive inbetween it and the pulley!! i could of kicked him repeatedly for it as ive spent the last 4 days doing a complete engine rebuild and it was the last thing left to put the belt back on...im not even sure why he had a screwdriver in his hand

A friend got one for her Sciento for for £100
