Technical tapping noise

I own a 2001 sei sporting and every time i go around a right hand bend i get a metalic tapping noise from the right front wheel area,perhaps the outer drive joint if so how easy is it to fit.

Does sound like the outer pot joint. Easy enough, but probably easier still to fit a known good driveshaft. All in the Haynes.

Commonly refered to as a CV joint.

Easy enough to do whether you do the shaft or just the joint.
