Or better yet - find a solution to help both parties.... (easiest way to be keeping 780 as a selectable template - and only adding the extra bars in the 1024 and full screen versions)
I guess they'd have to scroll a bit more - although actually, if i put the bar on the right rather than the left - then they wouldn't ..... oh except for the thread pages ...
hmm....
I dunno - I can't see 800x600 increasing ... smaller resolutions perhaps, but then they're stuffed by the current one anyway ....that's what i said!
It is 2% at the moment, but with the increase of smaller devices and therefore lower res screens being more popular - i can see that increasing
That's an interesting idea actually ... :chin:Hows about having the index.php being blank and just running a jscript that detects screen res and redirect to the home page with the variable in the url. That way the homepage will know the screen width and can use the old layout or new layout depending on res?
i dont see a diffrence
or im too drunk
latest figues i can find say more than 70% of PC users are still 800-1024 pixels on 15-17" monitors (that does not include laptops)do you use a below 1024 pixel screen width?
