Right, I was de badging the stilo yesterday morning, got those gay lookin fiat squares off, then the "stilo" then came to the 16v... i took the v off first, then the 6, then when it came to the 1, it was abit tricky, but eventually it came off, but to my horror, the previous owner must have super glued it back on, because it got a big nasty blob, well mountain of super glue, white spirit doesn't work, i need something that won't damage the paint work, if i picked it off it would just pick about 2 layers off paint off with it, then it would be even worse, i've been to B&Q to get super glue remover, got refused due to my age, but on the packet it says not suitable for areas painted or varnished :(

I ent got a clue what to do

ethanol might work (surgical spirit).. but you will find that you need to soak the area for a while (a few hours might help) and that it would remove the glue a micro layer at a time (i.e. it took me an hour to get of a v thin layer off a piece of glass.. glue was less than a week old though.. if this doesn’t work for you - the simplest solution would be to run it off using a fine wet&dry sand paper, then ethanol to clean off anything left and then Tcut to make it look nice and clean again)

Ps: this may be better off in the bodywork section..
