General Sump drain plug

Does anyone know the diameter of the sump drain plug on a 2004 Doblo 1.3 multijet and also what type of tool is required for removing it please

Anybody have an answer for the tool needed to remove plug, is it an allen key, torque key or square? Thanks

Hi

Plug diameter 23mm or thereabouts

Removal tool 12mm allen key

As used on 2006 Idea 1.3 so I would think the same applies to a Doblo!

Undo it carefully and make sure that your tool fits perfectly. Kwik Fit ruined the sump plug on my old Doblo by being impatient and careless. It is easy to do and then a real pain to drill it out! (or so they say as I made them fix it.)

Mine was well seized so I got a 12mm allen type socket from draper that fit very well. Got it open eventually.
