Technical Unknown plug/wire ???

Hi,
Just bought a 2008, Fiat Doblo Activa, 1.3 Multijet diesel engine.
Whilst giving it a service found this cable hanging unconnected ???
Had a look about but couldnt see what it should be connected to ???
Any ideas ?? Has 2 wires, white and a black !
See fotos its front driver side(right) of engine, left wgen yr looking in. Cables quite long could stretch along front of engine ??

May not connect to anything, a lot of lower spec cars can have wiring looms from higher spec cars, if that’s what is in the parts bin at the time.

Often on 1.3 mjt engines they can have wiring plugs for things like aircon that are not connected at the other end either

Thanx Andy, also how do u reset service on the doblo. Ive tried with the mode buttons etc but no success, likewise looked on youtube and they state foot on accelerator, then 7 times on brake pedal !! But no joy ??
Can you help ?

It will reset DPF related items properly, helping keep the motor running happily

Edit.. at 2008 DPF was optional.. but MES is well worth adding to your service kit. Connect to whole vehicle.. not just the motor

I have mentioned in another thread who has the same issue. As previous contributors have suggested it could be for other specs which have not been installed on your model. It could be for front fog lights.
