would that be a good thing to use then was looking at a friends boot build and he has sunk the amp and stuff into mdf above the floor of the boot wanna do that a put perspex over it or sometyhing with some lighting

Depends on how well you want it to fit. Using FG would result in a much closer fit over the wheelarches and spare wheel well etc. You would use MDF for the majority of the bits you can see in a finished build, with the FG as a sort of base against the wheelarches/wheel well etc

i decided what i want to do have two subs on each side of boot and a couple of amps on floor of boot under some kind of see through material over the top then have a parcel shelf made out of mdf with 6x9 in it dont know wjhat to do with the front
