WHERE DOES THIS ONE GO???

Could you link to the prodyct on the site instead of jus the pics? As i can;'t find it under cinq!

When i had mine out, there are hardly any space to slip it onto it !

Do take pics, when you get it and when you got it on the mount!

Ming

Really? Will do! I receive them in about a week or so ;)
I'll keep you updated in this thread (y)

EDIT: I'm talking about the mount of a seicento (it's sort of triangular shaped, I don't know how the gearbox is mounted in a cinq :yum: )

I'll got a mount kicking about ,i'll get a pic for ya!

Yep, that one made me a bit scared too :p I don't know how they planned to fit/replace the bush to that one... the only one left for that mount is the one on the right on the photo below:
bikopur_061242a_poliuretan_fiat_cc_sc_wkladka_poduszki_silnika_avg_bp.jpg

I think that bush is applied at the bottem of the mount, instead of the square top side

Hey Guys!

They're here :D and mounting them today :)
Fits very well in the center one with a little bit of play in the center.
Got the center piece out in no-time (without lubricant!) just a tiny screwdriver.

The inserts are not totally stiff, you can bend them a bit still.
I'll keep you guys updated about the rest of them (y)

Have Fun!

Hey Guys :D

Got some info for ya! THERE IS NO CAMBELTSIDE INSERT :yum:

it supposed to be mounted BOTH into the center mount.
Still going to be a pain getting the bottem plate of the center mount
Gearbox fit great though!

So i'm going to tigerseal the cambelt side one ;)

Cheers!

For those who are interested, here is the translation of the install-instructions :yum:

--------------------------------------
comments on the installation
during removal of old metal and rubber bushing may arise sharp edges of the nests of other metal wishbone suspension components which it is necessary to remove such as sandpaper or a fine file
Mounting sleeve polyurethane prepared rockers and other parts of the suspension must be carried out with the use of cock grease, which is attached to the kit / sleeve if he is not included you can use automotive grease to the pins or articulated
Lubricate all contact surfaces with polyurethane suspension components

lubricates the one who is going )
Regards strong band-flex
--------------------------------------

btw heated up the whole under plate, doesn't get loose
And the rubber seems glued... :yum:

kind of stuck here...
anyone ideas?

EDIT: Does anyone know why the mounts must be lubricated??
-> to reduce friction i think

Managed to get it done! (y)

The way i did it was put it in a vise with a same size axle-box and wiggle it off by slamming each side separately with a hammer and a large screwdriver, while supporting each side to prevent it from going back.

The cap can't be pressed back on because of the gap caused by the new insert, so it will be pressed together in the mounting system.
Enjoy!

Hey guys!

It's all in and took it for a test spin, and GOD I LOVE IT :D
BUT, i don't think every one likes it :yum: The car has become a vibrator on wheels in low revs :p and the noise is tremendous! It's like sitting in a rally car, i'm lovin it (y)

So roundup for doubters (I've got the yellow strong-flex SPORT inserts):
+ Pro's (y)

  • Huge reduce of play on powertrain
  • Awesome engine sound!!!
  • Vibes, feels like you're racing!

- Down's

  • In stationary rev it's like a sub-woofer slapping your ears
  • Huge increase in noise (gearbox noise, clutch, engine, basically everything :yum: )
  • Vibes
For me it's just everything I've ever wanted :worship:
Cheers!

Couple more days and you will be sitting on a cushion wearing head phones...:D
I think I'll go for the red ones then..;)

Ill be buying some for mine then!

@lxfusion Onto which mount did the strange shaped one fit? Doesn't look familiar to anything Cinq to me.

The last one you fitted as well is that the front gearbox one? Mines basically fallen apart so taking that top bit off isn't a problem ha

Thanks
Sion

As i said the strange one is really for seicent only. As the cinq mounts for the front gearbox mount is different.
