Technical Strange Heater Problem

When I came out of work today (yeah someone has to do it!) I was hot so put the temp control on cool and onto face vents. The a/c wasn't on just the vents. Fan speed was on 1. As I drove down the road my face was freezing so I turned the temp control up one notch to 18, immediately hot air started to blow out of the vents! So I could have really cold or hot, no in between! I suspect it's been like this since I bought it because it sometimes gets really stuffy inside.

Does anyone know if the heater controls are adjustable? You know cable length or something, cos this is definitely not right.

Hi Dave, don't forget that the system in the Multi is air conditioning - which means more than just 'cooling' the air.

If its already cool inside, lets say below 18 celcius, then you adjust to 18c or more - the system decides that warm air is needed to bring the cabin up to selected temp, hence warm input.

That doesn't mean it aint broke - but check it out first
