Bah, whatever, I aint got no reserve on it, it's been sitting in my drawer for years, it needs a good service, it's one of those items that you buy and once you own it don't really care about.

I bought a TAG from my local jeweller several years ago for £1100, when I went on holiday to Italy my cousin fell in love with it so before I left I gave it to him as a gift, he was chuffed and I wasn't that bothered. It's like all things, they're desirable when they're in a shop window but once you've aquired them it's no big deal, strange us humans!

No doubt the skirts will be the same, once they're on I probably won't even notice.

Oh, the days before I had no kids, loads of disposable income, the good life, now they have the good life and I'm always skint! [:0]

I get what you mean Once its spent, its spent, you gotta look at what its worth to you as an item, if it meant more to give your cousin the watch than what you would have got out of it, then it worth it isn't it.

My point exactly, material things are only desirable when they are out of reach, as soon as you can afford them you think, is that it then?

I used to be mad on labelled clothing. Why? I was the only one who knew it said D & G, or Hilfiger, Armani or whatever on the inside. It's all rubbish really. Now I buy what I feel comfortable in, still nice stuff but I won't pay £80 for a shirt or £100 for trousers any more, NEXT will do, cheap and cheerful.

Although I'm still a bit of a gadget freak and I like to spend some wedge on my PC, Cameras, Home Cinema, Rampant Rabbit Deluxe Model for the Mrs, etc!

I like spending money on my car too, and now that I've sold my bike I no longer have two insurances to pay, but boy do I miss her? She was my baby, sorry, I mean, summertime babe, sleek, black and quick, she gave me a buzz and got my heart pumping (usually when I'd gone into a corner to fast and too low and I s**t myself) oh, I miss her already, sorry am I rambling, well it's better than spamming!

Nope, when I'm wedged up again I'll get a decent one. I'd love a Ducati 998 to be honest but it's big bucks or a 749 would be nice.

I'll probably end up with a Kwak though it'll be a ZX9/ZX10 or a Honda Fireblade, it's all a matter of economics!

A decision I'll make when the time comes, unless of course I chop in the Stilo annd go for an Abarth or a 147, decisions, decisions!

i dont know if you are a family man have kids etc ... but i WILL sure go for an ALFA GT in lets say 2-3 years time ... adore the car ... most beautifull thing ive ever seen on the road, though ive seen it only in conercials!

Nothing spectacular it was a Kawasaki ZX6.

But I'll tell you what James, modern 600s are really good fun, it would do 0-100mph in about 5 seconds and a top speed of 160mph. Good fun, adrenalin rush and go past fast cars like they stand still!
