General stilo rear exhaust mount problem

I have noticed squeeking noise coming from the back of the car,It is getting progressivly worse so had a look today and noticed that the bolt on the rear exhaust mount is loose.I have tried to tighten it but it just spins and i can see where the other side of the bolt/nut is.

Does anyone know how to get this bolt tightened up as this squeek is really annoying lol

I suspect it's a captive nut welded inside the car and it's come adrift from it's weld. It may be inside a box section so you may not be able to get to it.

I have just developed the same problem , Is the nut easy to get to without having to put the car on a lift ?

I have the same problem,the bolt wont uncrew and the welded it(somehow and to what)? but it lasted a week and now it clangs when i go over bumps or turn to the right. they were going to drill hole at side off bolt to get it out but changed there mind. now im stuck as to what to do with it!!

angle grind the head off the nut thats spinning, undo the other bolt holding the mount, remove the mount, drill 2 small holes about 2 or 3 mm either side of the bolt hole, position the nut so that you can see it through the holes that you drilled, re weld the captive nut back in place, remove the old bolt and refit the mount with a new bolt!

simples!
