Technical Still getting stuck in gear 😭😭😭

sorry no update yest, was totally wiped out, so couldnt get my brain to get on here.

soooo, turns out my Dad had a massive one. Blimey. See pic 1. Sadly, I wasnt used to wiggling things into place, and after ten minites, rage quit.

i went looking for something wider, and BEHOLD, a choir of angels sang as i laid eyes on the bbq burger flipping spatula thing. so i swear, i put it in the gap, was getting the torch, and heard a click. THE POWER OF THE BBQ TOOL WAS SO GREAT IT LEPT INTO PLACE FROM SHEER TERROR ALONE.

i then got over confident itd be done in 10 mins. so yeah.

weirdness during bleeding. (btw the pumping the clutch with it closed worked right away! so yay, ty for that!) everytime i got to 180-200 ish mls it went frothy. like a uti. I was pumping the clutch, and collecting the fluid in the syringe. this happened 3 times, the 4th time i stopped at 160 ish. i spent 90 mins in the midday sun, in an out of the car, pressing the clutch, filling the resevoir, emptying the syringe. my back was maaaaaad. it didnt help that twice the fluid went too low, (user error) and stoopid science sucked the fluid down, and air. so had to restart the whole thing.

anyway, the clutch feels loads firmer, and pings back up like CRAZY. like omg, im having to press super hard now. also, this is weird, but the car feels faster when i change gears. the gear stick feels firmer, but it goes into gear with, idk, more confidence. like, hey, i know where to go now,

so i dont wanna jinx it, as not done a proper test yet, buuuuuuut, just got back from a 20 min a47 run as a test. not many gear changes, but car got hot...i need everyone to remain casual, and not bothered, so the clutch doesnt get big headed. but yeah.

thankyou all so much! ure all amazing! I would never have had the courage to do this without yalls support. 💖

EVERYONE CARRY ON ACTING CASUAL AND NOT FUSSED

just got back from a round trip to somewhere that ALWAYS caused issues when i got there. its 5 billion degrees, and it was the school run. so ALOT of stopping and starting. again ACT CASUAL. not saying too much, but i didnt have to turn her off and on again.

AGAIN, BE CHILL.

also, omg ive never had aircon, and just got it checked. there were no issues, just needed regassing. this must be what it feels like to be rich. driving without knee pit sweat. it was mental.

speaking of a rich, there was a bloke with a porsche who needed 4 new tyres...£1,700. i shouted wtf, as a reflex. he was unbothered. like omg. do you know how many chupa chups that would buy. 😭😭😭

thankyou all again sooooo much! 💕💖💕

One gets some idea of the running cost when it's said that owners wanting to drive their Bugatti in the south of France find it cheaper to have it trailered there while they travel by private jet.

I've just looked up the cost of hiring a Chiron for the day; £47,900, including 100 free miles. Extra miles are £100+VAT. There's also a security deposit of £100,000.

Tyres on high end sports cars have always been expensive.
A mate of mine started a S/H tyre business in the late 80s, I was amazed how many dodgy car dealers would turn up for these cheap tyres, all I could think was about the poor sods who spent many thousands even back then for these flash cars and probably showed off to their mates at stupid speeds little realising how crap the four little patches of rubber were that they were relying on.:(

I'm trying hard to remember what it's like. I seem to remember it's rather more like the ball connector on the gearchange cables? it presses on from the side if I remember - been some time since I did one, but I seem to remember my biggest longest thickest screwdriver came into it somewhere - being used as a lever? Or am I thinking of another one. It's not like the VAG one, I don't think?
No, correct.

It's a heavily edited video lol
Hope all four of those pixels help
Don't overdo it with a dodgy back, take time to rest if you need it.
And well done the honest folk of Norfolk (you're lucky The Panda Nut wasn't in the vicin, I bet he'd have scoffed it) I left all five doors of t'Panda open the other night, had to put towels down but still got wet bums
Blast it... I missed my chance.
