Technical Stiff Clutch

Hi,

Just bought a Fiat, and got a problem with the clutch,

When i press the clutch in i have to press harder half way down to change gear, Now the car will change gear and operate as normal but it's stiff.

Is there a reason for this and how severe is it, will it cost much??

Stiff Clutch Problem, Why?

I think it 's normal. Maybe the return spring is too stiff, because it 's a new one. You can ask the dealer first. Good luck.

OK, so its hydraulic, so check that the rod from the slave cylinder is acting in a straight line. Could be an indication that its getting very close to new clutch time.
