Hi, i am new on here and new to Fiats (and automatics!)
In a nutshell i have a problem with my 2014 7 seater 500L. It starts, goes into gears but will not move! It is a duologic gearbox so can be driven both manually and automatic.
Only purchased 1 month ago from a private seller, transmission warning light came on when i got it home and have been in 2 situations of being stuck somewhere. Basically it would drive fine but after turning off ignition, going about my business and coming back to the car the problem would occur.
Twice i had to leave it parked up wherever i had been and the next day it would move again but now it completley wont budge.
The car starts fine, i can put it into manual or auto and the dash tells me what gear i am in. But putting the gas on it just revs and wont budge.
My garage have taken out the gearbox, there is little wear to the clutch. They suspect its the concentric slave which i have to buy from Fiat for upwards of 500 quid.
Thats not all.. apparently this may not fix the problem as it could be the cellor unit (i have never heard about this, not sure if thats the correct spelling and have tried researching it but come up with nothing).
Can anyone shed any light on this for me or has anyone experienced the same issue? I am looking at a bill of over a grand and thats not including this cellor thing they are talking about.
Thanks in advance!
