My brother Punto JTD 85 has been tuning to 135bhp and 235lb/ft at 33,000 miles. At 97,000miles his clutch start to slip was replaced to stage3 clutch kits by me. Now 128,000 miles the clutch is make a noise when release the clutch. I took it off again I can not believe the stage 3 clutch is worn already after 30,000 miles!!!!
My brother drives like my Grandma something I don't understand why stage 3 worn so quickly? he bought this from British made by factory http://www.clutch-specialists.co.uk/ has anyone have problem with stage 3 kits?
When I contact the company told me they think my brother is thrash his car all time which is not true and he (mock me) said we have no bad review or problem with customer the clutch is design to last double life of normal clutch that must be approximant 200,000 miles I do not believe this stage 3 can last at this mileage.
I am not sure if he should buy the original clutch kits the materials feel more hard and more area than the stage 3 clutch feels very soft materials and has less area to friction on the flywheel.
What you suggest used different made Stage 3 or normal clutch kit?
