I noticed today a rather loud squeaking sound, it's seemed to be coming from the front end when turning right. I've also noticed it from the rear too. However I took it out again and this time it hardly happened. Anyone have any ideas. Much appreciated

Is it a squeak on every wheel revolution?

In which case, I would start with the brakes. Mine developed a squeak like this due to a rusty lip on the rear drum catching on the shoes.

It would be a good idea to clean up all the brakes anyway as build-up of rust on sliding surfaces of front calipers & inside of rear drums can cause binding. Or as A3jeroen says, a trapped stone.

There's a great guide to cleaning up the front brakes here

I used a wire brush on an angle grinder to remove the rusty lip on the inside of my drums. You might need to be careful not to damage the shoe linings when taking off the drums if there's a lot of rusty build-up.

Just had exactly the same on my 09 500 Lounge. It was a heavy build up of detritus on the discs coupled with worn discs. Had the thing cleaned up, new discs and pads. Perfect now. Cost £140 at local garage including fresh MOT.

could be virtual anything.

Its hard to describe a sound

sometimes it better to post a YouTube video

Tyre squeal is a distinctive sound and sounds nothing like a stone stuck against a disc. However it would be very hard to describe either.

Worth checking the tyre pressures anyhow
