is not sensitive at all
. Take it off and bolt it on, the spacing is fixed so nothing to set at all. What you might find is that the sensor will be hard to push out just take you time it will come
. Use some WD or on it too. Ming
aye, this is not something to use a garage for, its one bolt and then disconnect the connector at other end, put new one in, done.

She lives . Sensor was really tight to get back in, changed the coil packs and leads as well. Started first time ran really well, so smooth and pulls better than it ever has

I tend to only do 1 component change at a time,
then you'll know for sure exactly where the fault lay.

Yea swapped over the coils after starting fine with the crank sensor change

Well looks like I need another sensor and a new alternator belt :'(
But why? What's happened?

On the motorway sound of a partly snapped belt flinging around and everything cut out. Cable slipped of the clip straight in to the alternator belt, cut the wire in half and frayed half the belt
