General Sometimes wont start... sometimes will.

hey,

sometimes i will get into my 2000 1.2 8v and i will go to start it up but all i get is starter motor noise and it wont start. then ill take the key out and do it again, and it will. very strange.

also sometimes it will be just idling and it will just stall. it did it the other day when just sat on my drive.

i dont know what it is, maybe a fuel-in issue?

if anyone can help i will be grateful.

try disconnecting the battery for a few hours

I also have the same problem with my 8v 1.2 punto. When I bought my punto the owner said that his car didnt start one time and had to get the AA out. The AA guys said its usually the crank sensor in the 1.2 puntos. Does your punto idle a little rough?

Exactly the same with mine too start sometimes i start it, it will just die, then it will start. it is very strange and mine idle's very rough most of the time and as you both got 1.2 8V do u think they are soooo slow or is it just me. because mine gets beaten by at 1.0 Corsa now that embarressing
