i wonder how/why sky changed their mind. i thought it would take a court order to get sky channels back on cable.

because in the current finacial climate both companys are a little scared and see that rather than bickering they had better just get along.

same reason why BT let virgin run their internet over BT's network.

Money maybe

Mikeee STFU BT dont "let" anything happen its in legislation. VM have sold ownership of their Telephony switches to BT FFS its old technology no-one wants really TBH.

Sky lost millions in advertising revenue and knew a court case would see them lose for anti competitive activity.

All sorted now, VM win.

VM get what they want, but they ley sky take the backdoor deal option so it isnt a high publicity win.

i'd like to take VM to court for discrimination against timdoners. we dont have cable. is it coz i is from da trimdon? thats trimdonist innit?

try again VM run out of money and resources when trying to "Fibre up the UK" and had to go crawling off to BT.

how does VM win? they have just given lots of money to their main rivals and in return get to show the sky logo on their channels:confused:

You got brown eyes Mikeee?

You should have your so full of sh*t! :p

1) ITV is NOT a rival PPV company and no-one knows the deatails of the return of the Sky channels.
2) VM didnt crawl to BT, in fact BT went to VM so they could increase their copper switch capacity to more modern systems by buying VM's unwanted assets.

Does your Dad believe in fairies? He must if he believes the cr@p you just quoted.

I remember you quoting from the Dad book on this subject before, its touching that you still have such faith in your Dad.

It may upset you to know but even Dads dont know everything.

He knows especially little about this subject whereas I do know....

I am talking about Switch exchanges, built and ready to use not a wall switch here you know... I do realise BT Wholesale is rather limited technology wise but your expression about the dirth of his knowledge is truly depressing and should be a concern his employers may wish to explore on his next 1-to-1.
