Hi all. Really pleased with the refurb job done on my steel wheels!:)

i'm trying to keep the original look but if the right set of alloys come along i might be tempted but lack of funds :cry: mean i will be keeping these for now

How did you go about doing that, they look great! I still have my original wheels, I may do them up a bit and try and sell them on...

Hi DJ, got the guy in my local bodyshop to do it. He rubbed them down with sandpaper and a machine sander which got rid of the rust (didnt blast them but would have done if he had the equipment)they sprayed them all over. Not sure what type of paint he used but he said they should last no problem. He done it for £100 cash as i know him. Well worth it i think.

Trying not to fan the flames............glorious weather day. Had a grand ol' time with the hood down and some John Lee Hooker on the stereo. The car still gets plenty of looks.

No no no..........it wasnt the car getting the looks, everyone will have been thinking what was that godawful noise coming from the stereo:D
