Technical Service indicator - overdue service

Just realised I'm 4000 miles overdue on the 48,000 mile service on my 100HP

I was relying on the little spanner warning but it doesn't seem to be working. Unsurprisingly the service indicator in the menu is reading zero miles. Is there anything to check or a quick fix for this. I suppose its possible the last people to service the car didn't/couldn't reset it but they said they did

Also, anyone know of any good independent 100HP/Fiat specialists in the Berskhire/Hampshire area before I book it in with a local grease monkey? Don't really want to suffer the hassle of Fiat dealers as they are all hopeless, expensive and unhelpful.

if you leave it long enough the warning eventually goes away. Never to appear again

service interval can be reset by software

sorry can't help with garage we did start listing a few in a cam belt thread (I think) see if I can dig the thread out again. I like the idea of a thread about recommended garages. The Good, bad and ugly or similar

My favourite garage is in Teignmouth. Hardly much help TBH. But any small garage that makes it living by maintaining a good reputation will be happy to service your car. Good mechanics like Fiats though some will always complain like a 1970s spanner monkey.
