Yes. Although they have two different part number (presumably some cars have two different ones) they are identical.

Try swapping them round?

Ill try but the error will be there again I think. But maybe consumption will be better for some time. thanks

anyway, will alufoil cheat work on second lambda??? but, I think if its there some connection trouble this wont help..

It's said to work. But, like you say, if the underlying issue is electrical, nothing will do it aside from a partial re-wire.

right, been the best morning for a while so i thought i would do some tests. pulled the plugs off the ecu, tested for continuity from ecu plugs to lambda plugs, no problems. then i tested the lambda sensors for resistance and voltage. now the tester i have is only a cheap one so as for ohms test it had to be put on 20M for me to get a reading, now the reading i get is 18.17 with it out of the car and cold, in the car when hot i get a readin of 6.3 on the 20M ohm setting and a voltage of 0.03 - 0.04 so i can aasume the lambda sensor is at fault. i have tried the tester on my glanza and with the lambda sensor on that unplugged the voltage sits around 0.9v so i know the tester is ok. does the lambda sensor use the exhaust as an earth?

if your on about the sensor he was using it only had 3
