exhaust front pipe was rattling so when i had a look to fix one of the bolts and spring was missing this fixes front downpipe onto manifold is it essential to replace with new sping and bolt or could i just use bolt or will it vibrate thanks for help

You could use a normal bold as a temp fix but its best if you have the spring replaced as this allows a certain amount of flex on that joint which in turn avoids the vibration cracking the welds further down the pipe.
