Update time

That fibre reinforced filler/ bonder is good stuff

and a bit further on

With a coarse filler

Rear bumper, I'll give this a light sanding and leave the rest to the body shop

Yep thats right the other holes got filled as well

The K type front splitter has been delayed so with these filled I can use my existing puntosport if I need to. The puntosport splitter has 2 eyes at the ends. I don't want four eyes so something had to go.


I then addressed the need for lights on the rear bumper.
The leds are from Maplin

During my last mot there was a heated debate about the legality of this. Eventually the mot tester gave in because the plate was lit and it was legal

So I'm using the same technique again

Spray job should be next week.....Colour?

Ducati red or that new fiat red on the bravo and pandas, the dark one?

Really like the LED's for lighting up the number plate, Im not sure the new bravo red would suit a mk1

Ducati red would look good definately though.

I took a dislike to the fog lights this week
This is coupled with my need for more cool air in the bay

Fog lamp hole

Fibreglass mould of light glass

Busted light

Bits levered out

Mould fitted to light and centre section cut

Bumper ready for body shop - except for splitter:!: (another courier **** up).

Mesh will have a final fitting to take it flush, whaddya reckon black?

Don't normally like most bodykit modifications but this looks like it could look nice and subtle...
