My old everglades rat snake bit all the time, always drew blood. Would come out of nowhere, perfectly calm climbing around my shoulders then BAM bit in the face. lol

totally, and i'm well scarred of snakes lol. Having some in the house has not made any difference to the FEAR! i get when they come towards me lol.
I think they are cool though and in general so easy to keep, defo the easiest pet to look after i ever had, even though i can't pick them up lol (i would if i really had to, but the mrs picks them up when they need picking up - i feed them and clean their houses out and everything else, just can't touch them)

What is it about snakes that you dont like? Would it be easier for a small snake or a bigger one? Ive got a few to choose from now

i don't know, my inner caveman just kicks in. I have a proper phobia! i can't explain it, i know its silly but cannot control it. I always think i am gonna pick up one of ours but then i get there and my arm just won't budge. They only diddly lil snakes as well, not sure i could even be in a room with a bigger snake out of the box..
Had nightmares for weeks when the milk snake disappeared. I'm quite sure he's gone or is dead now though. Have covered the whole house in hardcore flea stuff since he went missing - if he wasn't dead by then i'm sure that would have finished him off, was only a hatchling.

3 corn snakes- Flint, Neville and Crimson
1 Cali King snake- Elvis
1 Fire skink - Charmander
1 Half albino giant african land snail- Sheldon
2 Crested Geckos- Pudding and Timone
1 Fire salamander- Bean
Ill try and get some pictures up of everyone but cant remember what ive posted up already
Oh and me and my girlfriend have a chaco owl aswell called Archie
