There is no legal or legitimate reason to sell a Vehicle identity.

V5C, V5 and older log books should be returned to the DVLA when the vehicle is disposed of. Legally speaking they belong to the DVLA and selling instead of returning them "permanently deprives the DVLA of their property".

I have been highlighting and reporting illegal vehicle identity sales on eBay for over six years now and have made this petition...
