Don't think I've ever seen such a new EV already in neglect. This one has been parked close to a year on this parking garage and is already starting to suffer the actions of people writing messages like "clean me I'm dirty" or drawing on it. (Not sure that's as common in the UK as it is here)

Interestingly enough the car is from Switzerland and is here in Madrid, Spain so that must've been quite the trip on a 500e considering it's range. I don't suppose the EV battery is very healthy being parked for so long and wonder what it's like to power it up again one day..

It might not be abandoned, in london people have second homes and keep a car in the garage for when they visit, I regularly park in garages full of super cars and some very normal cars that sit for months or even years without being used.

It could also be hidden from the repo man it could belong to a company or belong so someone who has had to go away long term for work or family. So just because it’s not being used or cleaned doesn’t mean it is abandoned.

I've heard from such cases and would agree with you, no way to tell obviously for sure here, however this is a public parking garage level, the area building's residents private carpark is under this floor and with a private entrance, this is the one you can only enter with a ticket to pay later, not sure it's wise to leave the car for so long on a pay-per-minute carpark. The car has some sort of small fine from this carpark glued in the side window with a tow sign, however I doubt they'll be removing it anytime soon. Hopefully it's what you say, it's sad to see cars like this sometimes
