Hi
I'm new to this forum, so hope I've done this right! (I've checked for other similar threads and couldn't find the answer there.)

I have a 2007 Panda 4x4 with a failed propshaft centre support bearing. I've got a new one on order (eBay), but am not sure how hard it's going to be to remove/replace the bearing.
In the meantime, I plan to remove the propshaft and run as a 2WD. My question is: do I need some kind of blanking plate to cover the 'holes' in the front and rear diffs at the places where the shaft is removed? (Haven't removed it yet, so can't quite picture what will be left.)
Thanks in advance - and I hope it's not a (really) stupid question!!

Just realised that the splined end & flange will detach together, leaving just the other side of the flange, so no 'gap' or 'hole'!
Thought it must be a stupid question - apologies!!
