Hi, I removed the front bumper of my Easy Plus yesterday (l won't go into the reasons why at this time). It wasn't such a hard job once I got the hang of it and I took some photos and made some notes, which should be shown below, if it may assist somebody, someday. The only real problems I had were that there is not much space to get your hand in to undo the 10mm support bolts and one of the welded wing nuts was no longer welded but luckily I still managed to undo the torx bolt. I could foresee that it might have been more difficult if the car was older, with rusty conditions. It was a lot quicker to put it back on, it's not heavy but remember to put something soft down to lay it on to prevent scratching. If you attempt this also remember to unhook the fog light connectors through the little opening port doors in the front of plastic wing liners, if you have fog lights fitted... Hi

I need to remove the N/S/F headlight, do I need to remove the front bumper to do this, gas anyone made a guide or can you direct me to a video online as I can't find anything.

Horrendous! What a horrible job, took me five hours from start to finish, so many seized bolts, sheared torque recesses, a stupidly difficult task and all because I dropped the retention clip in the light housing whilst trying to change a bulb!
 
Hi, I removed the front bumper on mine not so long ago and posted the above diagram of the fixings. I did this to have a closer look at the a / c condenser and the ease of replacing that particular item.

The bumper job wasn't toooo bad but I was lucky enough to not really encounter any seized fixings, just an awful lot of them to undo, the awkward ones to me being the bolts at the front wing edges, behind the wheel arch liner.

It isn't an ideal way to spend an afternoon, even a warmish dry one with plenty of daylight but bit by bit, it should be achievable perhaps with WD40 pre treatment. I hope the diagram might assist, if the job really must be done and there are YouTube videos of people removing Punto and 500 bumpers etc, which are bolted and clipped on in similar ways.

Yes I do but the light housings are shaped in a way where you can reach the bottom of them so it's a useless quest, they have to come off and be turned upside down to get the clip out!
 
Nice guide ! I have a new main grille trim to fit and think I need to take the grille off, does anyone know how I do that - or do I have to take off the entire front bumper to get access ?
 
I was looking at doing this tonight, has a bump and the midsection of the bumper seems dislodge now. I had a feeling I'd need to essentially take the whole front bumper off but it's certainly not a 20 minute job to be doing in the dark ha. I think you're post will really help when I get round to it this weekend. Thank you!

Does the highlighted part come off on its own without taking off the lower bumper thanks
