Technical  Remote locking-Flashing indicators?

activating the flashing of the indicators has no connection with the alarm settings - this function can be activated in the body computer menu with the Examiner tester, the code card is needed to unlock the body computer to change it's settings.

thanks for clarifying. so has anybody detailed what the difference is in the different alarm settings? I have seen it posted before, but never to the point where the different options (and there signifiance) are outlined

thanks

Further to my post #72, here's the list of different modes for the alarm.

OK!!! I now have flashing indication when locking or unlocking the car. Fixed it today!!!!!!
Now, from what i could see, the guy connected the car with the examiner, went into SECURITY menu then procedeed into BODY COMPUTER MAGNETTI menu and then proceeded though 3 - 4 menus, and the system asked him if he wanted to activate the "BLINKER" function. He then asked me for the electronic code ( 5 digit number on a small blue creditcard size card which also has the mechanical code written on, which is given with the car), he put in the system and !!! TARAAAAAMMM!!!! flashing indicators! I am pleased with this because i can now be sure that I have locked the car without looking through the window to see the red light blinking!!!

I'm looking to do this on my arbarth but i dont have any car card ... also i don;t no if my car has the alarm fitted seam to have everythink else..

Any Fiat dealer can get the electronic and mechanical codes for you. It usualy costs £15 - £25 for the codes.

If you have the factory fitted alarm, there will be volumetric sensors and 2 switches in the roof switch/light panel. The switches are to disable the volumetric and anti-jacking sensors.

i do that the 2 volumetric sensors each side of the window screen but lights don't flash :(
