I checked this morning with my neighbour. he confirms what he told me before. If he registers a new vehicle which is not to be sold on immediately or to be used on the road - he is not required to prove he has insurance for the car. As he says, if he needed to drive it on the road he wouldn't waste time and money getting an individual cover note for that car, he would use trade plates.You can disagree all you want, you're still wrong.
So we continue to disagree. I suggest we leave it there.
